Continuing our discussion of the various ways to build an NSP business, in this lesson we will focus on:
As I mentioned in Lesson 19, when we first started our NSP business we held "Herbal Hours" in the homes of our customers and members. These were very successful. But we learned the hard way that there was a right way and a wrong way to get people to attend. (This would be a good time to review the information in Lesson 19.)
The wrong way way was to simply invite people and hope that they would show up. The right way was to invite them, get a verbal commitment, and then CALL THEM the day before the meeting to remind them about it. Even with this follow through there will be people who will decide at the last minute not to come, so you should try to get commitments from twice as many people as you would like to have in attendance.
Each month we gave an Herbal Hour on a different body system starting with the Intestinal System, because colon cleansing is such an important place to start on any journey back to health and vitality. Then we would do the digestive system, then the respiratory system, etc. We also did one on weight loss, which proved to be an extremely popular topic.

Give home parties in the homes of your enthusiastic members. Put all new sign ups from the event under the hosting member's sponsorship, to help them build their NSP business. You will build you business by helping your successline build theirs. At the same time you are also training your successline to host their own home parties, so that some day they will feel confident enough to do them on their own, and likewise to train their successline in the same way.
There is a lot of work involved with home parties, but once you have held your first one you will feel a great deal of satisfaction. They really are a lot of fun. Everyone enjoys them and there is no better way to build an NSP business.
